Officially just two hours until HidaShika Week begins! Have your entries and/or Scavenger Hunt answers ready before the end of the 24th. There are so far only a few entries to the themed mini competitions, and no one has made any guesses in the scavenger, let's make this a real competition and an exciting celebration!
HidaShika Week
I decided to designate July 18th through the 24th as "Official" HidaShika Week around the world
This week will hold themed mini contests on 6 of those days, and the last one will be reserved for whatever you the HidaShika fans want to submit in celebration of the pairing. Even if you feel like you can't draw or write, you still have a chance to participate and win. I will also be holding a scavenger hunt each day of the celebration. At the end of the celebration, the member that is first to find the most things from the scavenger hunt will win a prize. Lastly for those that have entered a submission to the themed contests will still have another chance to win a prize, those that enter will have a chance to have their assigned number drawn from a random drawing. Read on to understand what you must do for the themed competitions, scavenger hunt, and random drawing.

HidaShika Week Themed Mini Competitions DetailsI've decided the themes of each competition, you may enter each competition day once with a total of 7 chances to win a prize. Each time a themed day in this week passes, I will strike it through, signifying it over and no more submissions will be allowed for that theme day.
Themed Mini Competitions Schedule:
July 18 - Beach Day (We can't have a summer without some beach scenes! 
)
July 19 - AU Day (Can be modern, fantasy or even SciFi)
July 20 - Cosplay day (Calling all cosplayers! We need more HidaShika cosplays!)
July 21 - Crossover Day (You may put HidaShika into any other fandom you please!)
July 22 - Fanfiction Day (Calling all writers!)
July 23 - Festival Day (This is a week of celebration, so show our favorite pairing at a festival!)
July 24 - Whatever Day/Prize Drawing Day (Draw, write, or submit anything you want of HidaShika!)

Time for Judging now that the HidaShika Week is over, we will now commence the judging process. Only one mini competition will be judged on at a time, until each mini competition with entries has a winner. Those that are judges, you will be receiving voting instructions via a private journal from me ASAP.
I was going to make votes based on a points system, but I figured that would be too time consuming and just naming who each judge votes for would be easier.
judges are not allowed to vote based for friends, they are to vote based on skill, creativity and effort.
There can be 7 winners at the most, but there also maybe fewer winners depending on how many people make an entry for each competition. I will discuss the possible outcomes of that next.
Since =FlaredSight made several entries to many different competitions, but her entry to fanfiction day was the only one, we cannot judge it to any other entry, so sadly it is a void entry, but there is

Scavenger Hunt Instructions:
Anyone that is a member of this group may enter the scavenger hunt, whether you do art or not, whether you've entered the themed competitions or not, whether your part of the admin or not. It's open to ANYONE that is a member here.
I will be giving some clues related to different events that happened to Shikamaru and Hidan in either the Naruto manga or anime. I will be lumping together Naruto with Naruto Shippuden.
Those participating must look carefully at the clues and make a guess on what episode, chapter, character, or jutsu I am referring to. Some clues are easy, but others may require you to read or watch the manga or anime to find the answers.
Participants have from the moment I post the clues until the end of HidaShika Week (the very end of July 24th) to get their guesses in.

HidaShika Week Prize Drawing Event DetailsThe prize drawing will be at at the end of HidaShika week for everyone that submitted a pieces through out the week of mini competitions. The more entries you make the better chances you have at winning the drawing.
The drawing will be conducted by drawing a random number assigned to each contest entry, and at the end I will put all the numbers into the random.com number generator to come up with the winner.
If your number is picked, you will win a copy of Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Council 4 game for the DS. this prize will be mailed to you. If the winner rejects the prize, I will draw another number until I find someone that is ok with the prize being mailed to them. Don't worry about paying for shipping, I'll take care of that.
I have decided that the number all participants will be is determined by the time they made their entry, so the first person who submitted an entry into the contest will be number 1 and so forth. You also get mor
I hope with having three different ways to win, it gives everyone a chance to win something, as this isn't just any ordinary contest, this is a week of celebration and I want everyone to feel like they can celebrate it.
